Judith Moses is the Practice Owner and founder of Compassionate Counseling and Psychotherapy Services also known as CCPS.
Judy completed her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Minor in Behavioral Science at a private university in Tennessee and pursued her graduate degree in Social Work in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduation, she started her career in Kentucky where she began her career as a Residential Therapist.
Judy began working as a Residential Therapist in a girls and boys residential facility with children and families who were under the custody of the state. She also worked with Veterans who were struggling with substance abuse and taught educational classes on substance abuse and anger management. She held various psychotherapy groups including grief and loss. Later on in her career, Judy provided case management services at a homeless prevention program to assist individuals to find housing and employment.
Later on, Judy moved back to the DMV area and pursued her career in private practice. Judy currently works with military families, adults, and adolescents. She provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She also offers Spiritual and Christian counseling per request from clients.
Judy uses various clinical approaches based on the client's individual needs.
Fun Facts about the Clinician: Judy loves dogs, she believes in the importance of self-care, self-compassion, loves family and friendships.
Judy also enjoys reading, writing, and running and enjoys having spiritual time with God.
