Judith Moses is a highly respected Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the visionary founder of Compassionate Counseling and Psychotherapy Services (CCPS). With a deep commitment to helping individuals and families achieve emotional well-being, Judith brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her practice.

Educational Background

Judith's academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Minor in Behavioral Science from a prestigious private university in Tennessee. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Social Work from a renowned institution in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Professional Journey

Judith started her career in Kentucky as a Residential Therapist, working for two residential group homes—one for boys and one for girls—where she supported children and families under state custody. Her dedication and expertise extended to providing therapy for Veterans struggling with substance abuse and conducting educational classes on substance abuse and anger management. Throughout her career, Judith has led various psychotherapy groups, including those focused on grief and loss. She also provided essential case management services in a homeless prevention program, helping individuals secure housing and employment.

Current Practice

After relocating to the DMV area, Judith established her private practice, CCPS. She currently works with military families, adults, and adolescents, offering individual, family, and couples therapy. Additionally, she provides Spiritual and Christian counseling upon request. Judith employs a variety of clinical approaches, ensuring that each client's unique needs are met with personalized care and attention.

Personal Interests

Beyond her professional life, Judith is passionate about self-care and self-compassion. She values family and friendships and is an avid dog lover. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, running, and spending quality time in spiritual reflection and connection with God.
